July 2006 - new project in Algeria awarded (see french description here)

 

March 2006: One PC is being dedicated to LAMP configuration (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) as well as OGC compliant open source web map services as well as JAVA development.

 

From August 2005 to February 2006 several custom applications have been developed for a Project managing data for a water resources Project. These applications include:

- Double Mass Curve Analysis plotter (includes full plotting capabilities, data handler, automatic accumulation and batch printer)

- Batch file creator for DHI MIKE SHE files

- CSV to DFS and vice versa convertor

- Meteorological data handler for very large files (full transformation capabilities, regional settings convertor, quality checks for null and ambiguous values, calendar dates validation and EXCEL/CSV transposer)

 

From July to November 2005 several applications have been realized using Prolog 5.1, Visual Prolog 6.2 and C

- a csv-handling program

- a fuzzy-logic matching program for translating greek and english filenames

- a  simple topology controlling (point in polygon) application using C and Intel Assembly- the result of identifying 2,000,000 points in 20,000 polygons *shapefiles ArcGIS* has been successful in 13 minutes (whereas ArcGIS Editor needed about 9 hours)

From 24th to 26th of April 2006 ENB Ltd through Mr George Stathis and Mr Nikolopoulos Konstantinos have attended the Visual Prolog Application and Language Conference 2006 at Faro, Portugal, organised by PDC (http://www.pdc.dk)
